Amanda Batula’s “Unhinged” Beauty Tutorial Is the Most Relatable Thing You’ll See Today
The Summer House cast member’s recent “get ready with me” video before a night out was perfectly chaotic.
Before a recent dinner with friends, Amanda Batula decided to jump on the “get ready with me” TikTok trend and document her beauty routine as she did her makeup in less than 10 minutes. However, almost nothing went according to plan for the Summer House cast member, and it was so perfectly relatable.
To start, Amanda used ILIA’s Super Serum Skin Tint ($48), which she explained is “great just to add a little bit of something, so when I put concealer and stuff on, it blends better.” Next, she reached for what appeared to be Saie’s Glowy Super Gel ($28). “S--t. I forgot to do this first,” she said. “Just gonna add it after.”
“Can’t even get the first step right,” she added in a caption within the video. “Off to a rocky start.”
Although it may have been “a bad idea” to add the Saie product when she did, Amanda explained, “I just really like the glow that it gives me.”
Amanda then used “a little bit of bronzer,” because, as she put it, “I just want it to look like I go outside and I’m not the basement dweller that I am.”
Once she looked “alive,” Amanda added “a little concealer” followed by a blush from REFY — but her jaw dropped when she realized she put “a lot” more than she had planned on one cheek. “It’s all downhill from this point on,” she joked in a caption.
After blending the blush, she went to fill in her brows “just a little bit,” but once again ended up with more product on her face than she intended. “Why is it coming out so thick?” she asked. “What is happening?”
Amanda quickly fixed her brows and was in the middle of adding the “smallest, tiniest, littlest bit of mascara” before she paused and asked, “Oh no, who’s throwing up?” and ran to pick up one of her dogs.
“Oh my god,” she said before adding lip liner and gloss. “I’m, like, out of breath.”
In her caption, Amanda declared the clip was “the most unhinged video I’ve ever recorded,” but we are definitely here for it.
