Carl Radke Reveals He Got a New Apartment Since His Split with Lindsay Hubbard
The Summer House cast member dished on his and Lindsay's breakup during BravoCon 2023.
Carl Radke is looking to set the record straight about his split with Lindsay Hubbard.
The Summer House cast member addressed the topic during a red-carpet interview at BravoCon 2023. Carl told People magazine that his highly publicized breakup was “very challenging and difficult,” but he was confident that the upcoming Summer House season would dispel some of the notions surrounding the situation.
“I think people are going to watch this season and, from the beginning, are gonna pick up on and see things,” he said. “It’s a really painful breakup. You have two people that I think were really trying to make things work. But, yeah, this season really will share a lot more about some of those notions that’ve been said.”

Carl then pointed to Lindsay’s previous claim that she was “blindsided” by the breakup, which was announced just two months before the couple was set to tie the knot in Mexico.
“I was completely blindsided,” Lindsay told Us Weekly in a recent interview. “He blew up my entire life. I was crying, I was angry, and I had to find closure on my own. Now I’m at a place where I feel really good about moving on.”
However, Carl insisted Lindsay was not caught off guard.
“I don’t firmly believe she was blindsided, because we’ve had difficult moments, we’ve had these conversations,” he told People magazine. “And I did not call production to set her up. I don’t decide what is being filmed on Summer House. I really don’t. I just respond to what’s being requested.”
He continued: “We had a really rough summer and I really think people will see that. It’s been unbelievably emotionally hard… If there was a way I could make it all better in some capacity, I would do that. But it just shows the gravity of the situation when I really deep down felt like I needed to have a conversation with her about where we were at in our relationship and moving forward with the wedding… This has been harder than my brother passing away, I’m not even kidding. It’s been very, very painful and emotional.”

Carl went on to say that he and Lindsay were navigating their “apartment situation,” as they still share a lease for a gorgeous Manhattan home. The Summer House cast member said he ultimately gave Lindsay the Kips Bay unit, which went for $13,000 a month.
“Out of respect… I just wanted to do the right thing and it felt right to give her the apartment,” he said. “Thankfully, I have a new apartment. So [I'm] excited to have a new foundation. Since I’ve had the new foundation, it’s been incredibly positive for me. But, yeah, there’s still some closure and things I feel like are gonna need to be figured out at some point, but I’m just going one day at a time and just trying to take care of myself.”

Carl and Lindsay, who got engaged in August 2022, reunited on November 3 during The Summer House Always Wins panel at BravoCon 2023. The former couple confirmed it was the first time they had seen each other since their breakup.
“I’m grateful to be here. I’m nervous, as well,” Carl said during the event. “It’s emotional, but honestly, I’m proud to be a part of this show, proud to be part of Bravo. And I honestly love all these fans, so I wanted to be here.”
