It wouldn’t be a Summer House reunion without addressing the elephant in the room. At BravoCon 2023. Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard shared the stage to talk about their recently ended engagement.

How to Watch

Watch Summer House on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The former couple took the stage for BravoCon 2023’s The Summer House Always Wins panel, and their break-up drama came first and foremost for moderator and Bravo expert Brian Moylan. Moylan dove right in with his first question, asking Lindsay how she feels about “the current situation.”

Lindsay first played coy before giving fans an update about the split.

Lindsay Hubbard speaks about seeing Carl Radke for the first time after calling off engagement

“This is the first time I’m seeing Carl,” said the Summer House O.G. “And, yeah, we don’t really speak unless he has to get into the apartment to get some stuff. That’s really it.”

When asked about sharing the stage with Carl, Lindsay admitted she was “really nervous” and “shaking” in her seat.

For his part, Carl said he was “nervous as well” but “grateful” to be at BravoCon 2023 — available to watch on Peacock and BravoTV.com. He added the event was also “emotional.”

“Honestly, I’m proud to be a part of this show, proud to be part of Bravo,” said Carl. “And I honestly love all these fans, so I wanted to be here.”

The update comes less than two months after Lindsay confirmed the breakup via Instagram.

Carl and Lindsay met during the show’s inaugural season (which premiered in early 2017) and became engaged in August 2022. During Summer House Season 7, viewers watched Carl get down on one knee to ask for Lindsay’s hand in marriage during the romantic beachside milestone in the Hamptons.

Both moved into a shared New York City apartment in 2022, with plans to officially tie the knot in November 2023 during a wedding ceremony in Mexico.

However, Lindsay released a statement on social media about the breakup, stating, “My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me, and I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all.”

She said she was left “heartbroken,” “humiliated,” and without an understanding of why Carl suddenly ended the relationship.

Here’s how some of the Summer House cast “rallied behind” Lindsay

In light of the broken engagement, Lindsay said at BravoCon 2023 that she continued with her bachelorette party with her female friends.“The Bahamas was honestly such a great trip,” Lindsay said. “These girls rallied behind me like I never seen girls rally behind someone before.”

The women joked that Summer House’s Danielle Olivera made out with someone while in the Bahamas, and according to Samantha Feher, the mystery beau is from Charlotte, South Carolina, not unlike the long-distance relationship between Paige DeSorbo and Southern Charm’s Craig Conover.

Lindsay previously said she was “nervous” to share the stage with Carl

Hours before taking the stage at BravoCon 2023, Lindsay went to Amazon Live to express how she felt about seeing Carl since he made the decision to call it quits.

“I’m definitely a little nervous to see Carl today on our panel,” said Lindsay. “I think it’s really the first time that I’ve seen him in a long time, and it’s gonna be in front of thousands of fans. I don’t know how my emotions are gonna to react in that moment. I don’t know if I’m gonna get emotional. I don’t know if I’m going to, you know, feel any certain ways or be sad or angry.”
