Why Aesha Scott Is “Jumping for Joy” with Her Boyfriend Scott
The Below Deck Down Under chief stew shared an update on her relationship with her "best friend in the world."
Aesha Scott is known for her upbeat disposition, but she's even happier than usual these days. The Below Deck Down Under chief stew is in love with her boyfriend Scott "Scotty" Dobson, and she doesn't care who knows it. Her most recent relationship updates have exuberantly proven as much.
Aesha and her dashing beau have known each other since their schooldays. "We actually went to high school together. Scott was this super athletic hottie," Aesha shared in an interview during Season 1 of Below Deck Down Under. "Then fast-forward 10 years, he saw that I was spending a lot of time in the States, and so he reached out. And it was just, like, fireworks. He's just such a good man."
By Season 2, things were still going swimmingly for the stew and her proverbial first mate. "Scott and I have been together for over two years now and we're still madly in love," Aesha said in an interview on Season 2, Episode 11. "Right now, we live in Breckenridge, Colorado. It's our little base there over in the States. Scott works at the bar. He's independent, he's adventurous, he's my best friend in the world. I love him so much."
The fact that Scotty also works in the service industry at a bar comes in "really handy," according to Aesha, because "when we vent to each other about work things, we both understand it." But the couple doesn't just vent — as Aesha's latest update proves, they also have a really, really good time together.

In an October 16 Instagram post, Aesha shared a photo of herself looking happy as could be in the desert. She credited the photo to her beau in the caption, and wrote: "Jumping for Joy in the desert. I just love it there. Scott hates the heat but I thriiiiiive in it. I love that this is only a four hour drive away from Breckenridge. One of my favourite parts about the States is how drastically different the landscape can be within such a short distance!"
Speaking of different landscapes, earlier in the month, Aesha shared a romantic post from Colorado. "In the mountains with my love, where else would I want to be. (The answer is in New Zealand with my love but this is a GREAT place to be until then)," the yachting pro wrote. "This guy treats me like a Queen and I can’t believe how lucky I am to have him. Never settle for someone who isn’t a good person first and foremost! Looks come and go, money can come and go, but a good heart is who they are."
Aesha Scott Shares an Update on Ex, Jack Stirrup
As for where things stand with Aesha's ex, Below Deck Mediterranean's Jack Stirrup, Aesha dished on her past romance when she appeared on the July 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
She shared that she stayed friends with Jack after he flew to France to apologize to her for their breakup. "We kind of carried on our friendship after that, because, at the end of the day, we did get on really, really well," Aesha said. However, she later confirmed that the two aren't in communication today. "But then when I started seeing Scott, I cut that off because I thought it was respectful to my new relationship, even though it was just friendship."
