After a season full of drama for the Charleston crew, we got to see where all of the relationships finally ended up in the Southern Charm Season 6 finale on Wednesday night. There was hope that some friendships could be salvaged, such as that between Danni Baird and Madison LeCroy, while others looked like they're still going to need some TLC, such as Austen Kroll and Shep Rose. And, well, it doesn't look like anyone is going to be sending Ashley Jacobs a Christmas card anytime soon.

But of course, the relationship we were most curious about was that of Austen and Madison, whose on-again, off-again romance was a major topic of conversation this season, as you can see in the Southern Charm Season 6 After Show, above. Austen and Madison weathered an infamous video, a DM scandal, a breakup, Shep's criticism, and two very familiar faces at Patricia Altschul's party to ultimately end the season as a couple committed to one another and ready to take on whatever life throws at them next.

When The Daily Dish caught up with Austen in April, he confirmed that he and Madison were still together. He then said during a July appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, "I care about Madison a lot, and that will never change."

We Have a Major Update on Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy's Relationship

Now that it's been a few months and an entire wild season of Southern Charm has aired, we're dying to know the current status of Austen and Madison's relationship. And we're not the only ones.

Andy Cohen asked Austen if he and Madison were still together during the Charmer's appearance on WWHL on Wednesday night. Austen said that he didn't quite know how to answer that question. "We leave the finale together, we left hand-in-hand, and life is good at that moment. I'll tell you that much," he shared.

Austen then added, "It's very complicated."

You don't say.
