Why "The Stakes Are Much Higher" for Ciara Miller and West Wilson to Date

Almost from the very beginning of their meeting in the Hamptons, Ciara Miller and Summer House Season 8 newbie, West Wilson, hit it off. 

"West is impressing me, I'm not gonna lie," Ciara noted during a confessional interview on the Season 8 premiere, which aired on February 22. "How many dudes do you meet in New York City ... you go on a date with them and they literally only talk about themselves? [...] So, it is really nice to meet a guy who is actually inquisitive about my life."

"I've been on a zillion first dates in New York City, obviously, but this one ... the stakes are much higher!" West exclaimed in a confessional interview during the episode. "If you meet a girl off Hinge and the date sucks, you'll never see them again. I'm gonna see this woman 900,000 more times this summer so ... I gotta f-cking bring it." 

Upon sitting down at the restaurant, Ciara chuckled at West being a little "nervous," though she admitted she was a bit nervous herself as well, trying to calm his anxiety. "Wait, I love hearing that you're nervous!" West joked. "That fires me up."

Later, the pair complimented each other on their respective looks for the evening, as Ciara noted how "cute" West looked for the evening. "You do as well," he said back.

Elsewhere on their date, Ciara revealed she's a "camper" and has "hiked the National Parks in California, Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, [and] Georgia," causing West's jaw to drop in amazement. 

"Honestly, I like him," Ciara shared in a confessional interview. "But ... it is in my DNA to be an intentional dater. I do want to be in a relationship, ultimately, that's what I want. And I'm not jumping into anything right off the bat." 

Ciara Miller explains why West Wilson makes her "a little nervous" 

In a confessional interview, Ciara explained why another aspect of her date with West made her "nervous." 

"I usually date guys who are in, like, their mid-thirties; 33 is like, the youngest — and he's 28," Ciara confessed. "It just makes me a little bit nervous. I think that guys that age, they're [in their] prime, they're having the time of their life. He's not thinking about ... literally anything!"

She added about her dating ventures: "This sh-t has not worked yet, so I might as well just do the opposite of what I've been doing and see how it turns out."
