Is Tom Sandoval Ready to Sell the House He Shares with Ariana? "The Ball's in Her Court"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member had a surprising response to hearing Ariana Madix "wants to sell the house" they currently share.
Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix have been at odds over their shared house since their tumultuous March 2023 split, but on Season 11, Episode 8 of Vanderpump Rules, Tom made a surprising comment about the fate of their home.
As Ariana explained in the Season 11 premiere, she was maintaining a "no contact policy" with Tom despite the fact that they lived under the same roof. During the March 19 episode, Tom talked to Katie Maloney about his situation with Ariana and said, "At some point [Ariana and I] need to have a conversation."
When Katie responded, "She wants to sell the house," Tom declared, "The ball's in her court."

In the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere, Ariana explained to Katie, "[Tom] wants to buy me out and stay here," to which Katie replied, "[If] he has that kind of money ... go buy something else!"

Tom and Ariana shared more on the subject in the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show video above. When asked why he didn't move out of the house, Tom explained, "All of those bills will be coming out of my accounts. I knew that if I moved out, she would probably have a friend move in, and I would just — nothing would happen." Later, he added, "I also couldn't afford to, like, go live in another place."
Ariana explained that living together immediately after their split was "weird," but "there were parts of it that were not so bad."
"The primary bedroom being as it is kind of set me up to be in a place where I could potentially be in there and have everything I needed and not really feel like I was having to uproot or do anything that made me feel uncomfortable," she added.
Although it appears the two are still working out the details regarding the house, Ariana gave an update in a January interview with People. “I own the house,” she said. “I felt like it was the last thing, and I'm just really motivated to be able to get my investment that I made into the house out so that I can make another investment and be able to fully just move on from being tied to that."
Admitting she is "a little bit of a control freak," Ariana explained that she wants "things a certain way" when she thinks "it's the right time" to sell.
"So I'm ready," she added. "I want to own my own home."
