The Real Housewives of Potomac ladies came together for Ashley Darby's beautiful baby shower on June 8, but noticeably absent among the attendees was Candiace Dillard Bassett.

Seeing how well (or rather, not well) Candiace has been getting along with Ashley this season of RHOP, her absence from the baby shower actually might not come as much of a surprise to some fans. However, Candiace explained during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she was welcome at the celebration. "I was invited," she told Andy Cohen (clip above). "I made the decision at the last minute to not attend for personal reasons."

Candiace did not elaborate on what those "personal reasons" were on WWHL. She did, however, share several photos and videos of herself celebrating Pride in Washington, D.C. on June 8, the same day as Ashley's baby shower.

Many members of the RHOP squad came out to celebrate Ashley's baby boy at her shower, including Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, Monique Samuels, Karen Huger, and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan.

Candiace was also asked if she's jealous of Ashley's pregnancy during her appearance on WWHL. "I have expressed multiple times in many forms that I am not sure about being pregnant yet," she shared. "I am happy that she is pregnant. I'm happy that she's having the baby that she wants. I don't know that I want children, so I'm not harboring anything about not having kids right now."
