How to Watch

Aviva Drescher is the real Housewife of New York City—born and bred in Manhattan. And now she's ready to spill the beans on her tumultous, amazing life.

The Real Housewives of New York City star is penning a tell-all memoir. And while she hasn't released the book yet, you can get a sense of if it's tone based on the title alone: Leggy Blonde.

Aviva's fans will get the joke immediately: she tragically had her leg amputated at six-years-old following a horrific farm accident. But it never set her back. Aviva got a Masters degree from NYU and earned a JD from law school. These days, she's devoted to charity and philanthropic work and raising her children.

So what can we expect from the book, which is available February, 25 2014? "I love to write and I wanted to get my story out there not only about my leg accident but a lot more," Aviva tells the Dish. "My wackadoo childhood, marriage and divorce, family addiction, lawsuits, and more. It's all out there! Lots of revelations that are unseen on RHONY. It was very cathartic to write my own story. A very spiritual experience which allowed me to go back into the past and surprise myself!"

Aviva certainly has the chops to write, too. She says an essay penned in 1989 for her college application was published in a book of best college essays, and in 2000, she contributed a piece to Chicken Soup for the Soul.

What do you think about Aviva's book? What secrets do you hope she reveals? Check out the art for her book cover and tell us in the comments.
