Crew members go on to do some pretty amazing things after Below Deck, including tying the knot, becoming a captain, and taking to the skies. But this Below Deck alum update has us really shook.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Bravo Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Bruno Duarte's life since Below Deck has been especially awesome. The Season 5 deckhand recently revealed on Twitter that not only has he just been hired as a chief stew, but he's also working as a chef these days. "What????? I made it. [I'm] officially the Chief Stew of Skyfall Sunseeker. And Im also a chef (picture coming soon)," he announced. "Thanks Captain Robin for acknowledging my [hard work], [stripes don't] mean anything but it still feels great."

Bruno recently shared an example of the kind of silver service he's providing on his current yacht, and he is clearly crushing it. "And tonight 3 course menu, at the end primary booked another charter...awesome result," he captioned a photo of a lovely looking tablescape on his vessel. "Love my job been able to do the 2 things that I love the most. Feeling blessed."

Let's not forget how wonderful of a job Bruno did serving up food in Season 5 of Below Deck (clip above).

In addition to his employer and charter guests being happy with his work, Bruno is also getting some major props from Captain Sandy Yawn. "Congrats @brunobelowdeck," she shared on Twitter. "Deck, Interior, Galley...what's next?!?"

And Bruno has been humbled by the Below Deck Mediterranean boss' praise. "Thanks Captain! My mom always said that I was gifted I could do many things. Today I can say she was right," he tweeted at Captain Sandy. "Being a Chief Stew/Chef/Deck is rewarding but a lot of [hard work], but when you love what you do makes it easier..."

Bruno wasn't the only member of the Below Deck Season 5 crew to go on to get a promotion. Third stew Jen Howell also started living that "chief stew life" after her work on the Valor.
