This Below Deck Crew Member Is Now a Chief Stew and It's Blowing Our Minds
Look how far this yachtie has come!
Yachties join the Below Deck crew with, shall we say, varying levels of experience. For every veteran like Captain Lee Rosbach or Kate Chastain, there's oftentimes a crew member who's a bit greener to the world of luxury yachting.
Take last season of Below Deck, for instance. Captain Lee, Kate, and Nico Scholly memorably lamented how green the crew was. In particular, Kate had her work cut out for her with third stewardess Jen Howell. Jen definitely had the enthusiasm down while making her dreams of working on a yacht come true. However, she soon discovered that there was a bit of a steep learning curve when it came to mastering her stew duties, which you can relive, above.
But now it looks like all of Jen's hard work has paid off. The Below Deck third stewardess has worked her way up to becoming a chief stew, according to her bio on her Instagram profile. Jen also continues to keep fans updated on what she's been up to since last season of Below Deck, most recently giving a glimpse into "chief stew life" in the Bahamas.
While reflecting on Season 5 of Below Deck with Kate during an interview on her After Deck podcast last November, Jen said that she would "absolutely" be a stewardess again. "I love challenging myself and learning new things," she said. "I think that I just need to change my perspective a little bit, have less expectations, and then I think it can live up to my expectations."
We have great expectations when it comes to Jen's yachting career, and she's definitely living up to them.
