The stud of the sea had to depart at the beginning of Season 10 due to his ongoing health problems, but as he announced upon his return, "I'm so goddamn glad to be back."

"I feel like I'm back where I belong," Captain Lee added, adding that health-wise, he's "doing great."

"I made a lot of improvement," he explained. "I was spending every day in physical therapy. And it was tough."

Thankfully, the hardest part is behind him, and he's now back for the rest of the season. "Doctors have assured me that I'm not gonna damage myself any more by working," Captain Lee said, "and I'll be goddamned if anything's gonna keep me from it."

After giving Below Deck fans a health update, Captain Lee turned his attention to Captain Sandy Yawn, who had been serving as Relief Captain while he was away. "I can't express how much I appreciate that," he said in a confessional. "And maybe someday I'll get to return the favor to her."

Before leaving, Captain Sandy made sure to fill Captain Lee in on everything he missed, including the firings of both Alissa Humber and Camille Lamb. His response? "[Captain Sandy] did the right thing. They need to go, they need to go. She's the one that had to deal with it and I'm sure she made the best decision for the boat and for the crew."

Speaking of the crew, Captain Sandy gathered them to give a heartfelt goodbye. "It's kind of bittersweet for me because I have really grown fond of all of you," she told the group. "I don't know why I'm so emotional. When you go through this together and you climb out on top, it creates this incredible bond. You're special. Don't forget that."

Captain Sandy continued in a confessional, "I am just so grateful for their hard work, their dedication. It's like we were in the trenches together. What we've gone through, to this point, is pretty awesome. I'm gonna miss 'em."

"I hope for the crew that having Captain Lee back, that they shine, that they show him how far they've come," she said. "I hope that he gets to witness that and walking away knowing he's healthier, he's better, and he finished with an excellent crew."

Chief Stew Fraser Olander received a special shoutout from Captain Sandy, as she said he had been "killing it."

"Captain Sandy taught me a lot," Fraser said. "And yes, we had our ups and downs, but ultimately I admire, respect, and look up to her enormously because she gave me another chance at myself and being a better person."

Looking to the future, Captain Lee put it best: "Thank you everyone, now get your asses back to work."
