Brooke Laughton Reflects on Season 3 of Below Deck Med: "I Have Made a Lot of Mistakes"
The stewardess shares where she stands with her Below Deck Mediterranean crew members following the reunion.
Brooke Laughton experienced an intense end to this season of Below Deck Mediterranean, to say the least. Not only did her drama with Hannah Ferrier come to a head in the Season 3 finale, but some new information about João Franco's post-season relationship with Kasey Cohen also came to light at the reunion, causing the second stewardess to question the future of her romance with the deckhand.
But now Brooke is looking toward the future with a positive attitude. She reflected on this season of Below Deck Med in a post on Instagram following the reunion on Tuesday night. "So many messages about [tonight's] reunion and I just wanted to say this year has been crazy to say the least," she wrote. "I hold no grudges and understand to grow it is essential to let go of any bitterness or hard feelings towards ANYONE on the show and will continue to try and see the potential and best in everyone I meet. I have made a lot of mistakes throughout this year and I really just appreciate the support I’ve had from friends, family and fans. So excited for my next chapter."
The Instagram post also featured a quote from Nicole Lyons: "She's an old soul with young eyes, a vintage heart, and a beautiful mind."

João has similarly made peace with this difficult season of Below Deck Med. "Although I wish I knew before the reunion what I know now, it’s done and over and there is no need to look back.... I couldn’t be happier, to be free and in the best head space! It’s surprising how the people I least expected to be there for me have been ever since!" he shared on Instagram ahead of the reunion. "Thank you all again for the support! Next adventure."

Brooke and João officially ended their relationship after the reunion, João told The Daily Dish at the end of August. He said that their friendship is currently on hold as well. "She has apologized, which I'm very grateful for, and I have apologized, too. I just said that we can't talk for now because I love her, and I still have these feelings for her. And I feel that if we spoke, I would go back to not giving up in trying to be with her, and she needs her space. So I'm gonna give her that, and if she wants to sort things out, I don't know," he previously explained to The Daily Dish. "At the moment, anything can happen, so I'm not saying that I'm gonna wait for her, I'm not saying that I'm not, I'm just at a point where I'm happy with where I am, I'm happy with what I've learned throughout the show, and I'm happy to move forward, whatever that may be."
