Eddie Lucas knew he'd have his work cut out for him returning to Below Deck after a four-season absence in the current Season 8. However, it seems like the bosun wasn't exactly prepared for all of the challenges that deckhand Shane Coopersmith has brought to his team, including showing up late to work, going for a shirtless swim while on charter, and even taking a nap while he was supposed to be on deck.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Even though we've seen some tension between Eddie and Shane as a result of their differing points of view about working on a yacht, it turns out the bosun actually came to the deckhand's rescue this season. "You did save his life," Captain Lee Rosbach said of Shane to Eddie in the below sneak peek of the upcoming Below Deck After Show posted by The Daily Dish on Instagram. "By not telling me that Shane was down below sleeping."

You see, if the Below Deck boss had been aware of Shane's sleep break, it sounds like the deckhand would have had a lot more to deal with than just cleaning the yacht's water line after his nap. "He owes you big time," Captain Lee tells Eddie in the Below Deck After Show preview clip.

Captain Lee, Eddie, and the rest of the My Seanna crew will reveal more of what you didn't see on TV this season when the Below Deck After Show returns Monday, December 14 immediately following the new episode of Below Deck. Head over to BravoTV.com and YouTube every week after the latest episode of Below Deck to watch the yachties break down the buzziest moments of Season 8, spill behind-the-scenes secrets, and so much more.
