How Does Kate Chastain Really Feel About Ben Robinson's Return to Below Deck Med?

When the news first broke that Ben Robinson would be coming back to Below Deck Mediterranean, loads of past and present crew members from across the franchise sounded off on the chef's return this season. However, there was one important name missing among the reactions: Kate Chastain.

Ben and Kate famously worked together for three seasons on Below Deck, becoming fast friends and then, uh, sometimes more than just friends. But Kate had kept mum on Ben stepping back into the galley until he officially returned to Below Deck Med in Monday night's episode.

Kate finally showed her excitement for Ben's return on Instagram and Twitter on Monday night. "Yay! Chef Ben is back," Kate tweeted.

Captain Lee Rosbach, who served as Ben's fearless leader for four seasons of Below Deck, also tweeted, "Welcome back Chef Ben."

Ben recently told PEOPLE that he has kept in touch with both Kate, Hannah Ferrier, and many of his Below Deck crew members since stepping away from yachting. “I created brotherhoods and sisterhoods with everyone I ever worked with on the show. We’re all part of a family really, aren’t we? We’ve gone through something quite exceptional in our lives that a lot of people will not experience. It’s almost like going through a battle with someone," he shared. "We’re blood brothers. We have remained in contact and they’ll always be special people in my life.”

Kate actually named Ben as her favorite Below Deck crew member of all time during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in July. "And that might be because we had sex," she quipped.

Well, that is a reason.
