Bravolebrities Share Their Best Tips For Staying Connected on World Health Day

“As the world practices social distancing, it’s easy to feel isolated,” says Kyle Richards.

April 7 is World Health Day, the day to celebrate the work of nurses and midwives and remind everyone - your friends, your family, world leaders -  of the critical role they play in keeping the world healthy. On this World Health Day, we thank those who are saving lives every day.

As we all continue to practice social distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), it can be easy to feel disconnected from friends and loved ones. In light of World Health Day, a few Bravolebrities have shared their most uplifting advice for staying in touch with others and maintaining mental health in the video above.

“As the world practices social distancing, it’s easy to feel isolated,” said Kyle Richards from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle has recently opened up about the anxiety that many are experiencing throughout this situation, noting that her sister, RHOBH alum Kim Richards, reached out to her just to talk things out on a particularly difficult day.

“More than ever, it’s important to stay mindful of our mental health,” pointed out Shahs of Sunset cast member Reza Farahan

The Real Housewives of New York City cast member, Dorinda Medley, urges everyone to “call friends.” Throughout self-quarantine, Dorinda has been very vocal about her experience, revealing, “it has been quite difficult managing both my physical and mental health, but it is important everyday to get up, and get dressed, get showered, because God knows we could end up just on the couch for hours and hours.”

The RHONY mom suggests staying as active as possible, and has used Zoom calls to keep in contact with her cast mates.

Gizelle Bryant noted that reaching out to others “might be one of the most helpful things that we can do.” The Real Housewives of Potomac mom has also been exercising regularly to stay occupied while in self-quarantine.
