Brittany Cartwright Shares an Update on Her Life as a Mom — and Whether She Wants More Kids
The Vanderpump Rules alum provided a peek into her life with Cruz, and teased a future with siblings for her son.
Brittany Cartwright is proudly Kentucky-born, and she was also born to be a mom. The Vanderpump Rules alum and her husband Jax Taylor welcomed their first child, an adorable boy named Cruz, in April 2021. Since then, Brittany has shared adorable updates about her life as a mom — and her future plans to welcome more kiddos to the family.
In an October 23 Instagram post, the beaming mama dropped a slew of photos depicting her trip to Kentucky with Cruz. "Missing KY already," she wrote in the caption. The pics showed Cruz petting farm animals, having a family bowling night, and cuddling with his grandmother, Sherri Cartwright, in a sunflower field.
In the comments, Brittany responded to a follower who questioned whether she's currently pregnant. After sharing that she is not, Britany wrote: "We’ve been very open that we are trying for baby #2 though so fingers crossed!"

Cruz and his family have also had plenty of fun bonding time in Los Angeles. In an October 1 Instagram share, Brittany posted photos that amounted to "a little summertime rewind." The pics showed her and Jax kssing Cruz at a fair, and also offered glimpses of the little one in his adorable printed PJs and hanging out at home with his mama.
Though she has dozens of gorgeous photos with her son, Brittany admitted in an August post that "pictures with a toddler are never easy." Still, she managed to capture a few beyond-cute snaps with her "momma’s Boy."
Jax has made some adorable appearances on Brittany's Instagram feed too, including in a June 29 post that marked their fourth wedding anniversary. In addition to sharing some dreamy wedding pics, the post included a look at Jax and Cruz wearing tuxes, having a father-son moment in the kitchen.
Brittany has also celebrated both Mother's and Father's day on Instagram, starting with an appreciation post for mamas on May 14. "Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing Mommas out there!" she wrote. "Becoming a Mother was the best day of my life and what I am most proud of. I love my little Cruzy more than I could have ever imagined. Thanks for making me a mommy I love you so much my handsome boy!"
On Father's Day, the Kentucky native shared three heart-melting photos of Jax playing and cuddling with Cruz. Speaking of fatherhood, Jax is ready to do a little more parenting. On the October 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen asked Jax if he wants to have more little ones.
"Absolutely, yeah," Jax said. "Can't wait."
