Brock Explains Past Comments on Raquel’s Instagram Posts — and Scheana Reacts
Vanderpump Rules’ Brock Davies also explained why he finds the infidelity rumors “really upsetting.”
Scheana Shay was quick to shut down the rumors about Brock Davies and Raquel Leviss in the wake of Raquel’s affair with Tom Sandoval, but that hasn’t stopped said rumors from “swirling,” as Andy Cohen put it on an April episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Both Scheana and Brock have continued to deny that he was ever unfaithful with Raquel, and the latest instance came during the June 16 episode of Scheana’s podcast. Brock also specifically addressed certain comments he previously left on Raquel’s Instagram posts. Read on for details.
What does Brock have to say about the rumors that he hooked up with Raquel?
Addressing the “stupid rumors,” as a fan-submitted question put it on Scheana’s podcast, Brock said, “Fun fact: [It] never happened, and honestly, it was really upsetting because we had friends of ours reach out to us, to Scheana, to check in. And I appreciate the friend check-in, I do, and I understand the world and the lay of the land of the landscape that we’re in, but the truth is, there was no truth to it.”
Looking back at the period of time before Raquel and Sandoval’s affair was outed, Brock continued, “The reason why I was so protective and why [Scheana and I] both fought for Raquel is because we saw somebody that was innocent… somebody that got talked over by James [Kennedy], somebody that was just kind of in her shell, and we all saw that, so we wanted to support her in however way. OK, you moved out of James’ house? Let me help you move out. I was the first one over there moving her out. Moved her out of the house [and] gave her a place to live.”
Another fan-submitted question inquired about past comments Brock had left on some of Raquel’s Instagram posts, including one instance in which he dropped several fire emojis.
How does Scheana feel about Brock’s comments on Raquel’s Instagram posts?
Both Brock and Scheana brushed off the comments, with the latter noting, “It did not bother me. I literally, just like two weeks ago, commented fire emojis on one of James’ posts.”
What’s more, the snapshot of Raquel that received the fire emojis “was a good photo,” Scheana added.
How did Brock explain his comments on Raquel’s Instagram posts?
After Scheana complimented Raquel’s photo, Brock shared a similar sentiment. “She looked great in the photo. She looked hot, and it had nothing to do with me wanting to hit on her,” he explained. “It was me trying to fluff her feathers, which is what I do as a person. I prefer to lift people up [rather] than tear them down, so I always saw her as someone that needed that support. And I gave that to her up to the point [when the affair with Sandoval] came out.”
Of course, the betrayal of Ariana Madix, coupled with “how [Raquel] handled the following days and the weeks and how it affected our lives, how it affected [Scheana], how it affected our child,” marked the end of Brock’s support. “That was it for me,” he said. “Everyone deserves their second chance, but that part [about] how it affected you and Summer, that was it for me. At that point, I didn’t care. You’re cut, you’re shunned.”
