The Summer House cast member shared major news regarding his next project.

By Jenny Berg

Carl Radke has some big career news— and this time, it has nothing to do with Loverboy. At BravoCon 2023, which took place in Las Vegas from November 3 to 5, the  Summer House cast member shared that he was returning to Loverboy in a part-time capacity after resigning from his position as VP of sales at the beverage company in February. But Carl also has a brand new project up his sleeve, which sees him spending a lot of time on set.

How to Watch

In a November 8 Instagram post, the former Loverboy VP dropped a series of behind-the-scenes photos from a film set. "That's a wrap on [A Love Like This]," he wrote. The pictures indicate that the movie takes place in a beachy Malibu setting. And based on the big smiles featured in the pics, it looks like the shoot was a lot of fun.

Carl Rake serves as an executive producer on movie, A Love Like This

The film's director, John Asher, shared more about the flick in a November 8 Instagram post of his own. "I just spent 12 days directing a movie that nobody thought we could pull off. But we assembled a Talented, hard-working, dedicated group of creative individuals that rose to the occasion and helped me bring my vision to life and exceeded all of my expectations." he wrote. "This is been one of the most rewarding directing experiences of my career. I can’t wait to share this movie with all of you."

One of the aforementioned "creative individuals" is Carl, who has executive-producer billing on the flick that stars Emmanuelle Chriqui and Hayes MacArthur.

Carl Radke Arriving on the red carpet Bravocon 2023

Carl's Summer House castmate was quick to congratulate him on his announcement. In the comments of his November 8 post, Paige DeSorbo dropped a red heart emoji.

Carl Radke on his return to Loverboy

As for his return to Loverboy, he elaborated on the move at BravoCon 2023. "Well, I'm actually proud to announce I'm going to be joining the Loverboy team on a part-time basis to help with the non-alcoholic product," he shared, citing a revelation earlier in the panel that the company is looking to add a mocktail to its roster.

Carl continued: "I'm excited about that. I also am producing a movie that's actually filming currently. So, I'm going to be going to Malibu after this, BravoCon, to finish the movie. And then I've got some other things in the works, which you guys will learn about.... But, yeah, I'm just trying to take care of myself, but focusing on my career is definitely going to be a good way to heal and move forward."

Carl Radke addresses his split with Lindsay Hubbard at BravoCon 2023

At BravoCon 2023, Lindsay and Carl came face to face during a panel weeks after the pair split in September

“This is the first time I’m seeing Carl,” Lindsay said on the panel on Nov. 3. “And, yeah, we don’t really speak unless he has to get into the apartment to get some stuff. That’s really it.” When asked about sharing the stage with her ex, Lindsay said she was “really nervous” and “shaking” in her seat.

Carl admitted that he was “nervous as well” but “grateful” to be at BravoCon 2023, adding the event was also “emotional.”

“Honestly, I’m proud to be a part of this show, proud to be part of Bravo,” Carl added. “And I honestly love all these fans, so I wanted to be here.”
