Countess LuAnn's Ex: Our Break-Up Was 'Boring'
Jacques Azoulay also says she has a "great sense of humor."
A boring break-up is better than a bad one, we suppose, and now Jacques Azoulay is opening up about why he and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps called it quits.
In a recent interview with Radar, Jacques Azoulay revealed there wasn't much drama behind their decision to end their relationship this fall. "The break-up was mutual and it was actually just time to turn the page," he says. "We were so hot and heavy in the beginning and things just cooled down. I wish I could say something juicy but it was just a boring break-up. We are still friends and she has a great sense of humor."
According to LuAnn, they broke up for different reasons: she revealed to Life and Style in September that their relationship, which was a prominent part of her life on The Real Housewives of New York City for the past three years, ended because they were heading in different directions.
The Countess isn't giving up on love—she's recently hinted at a reconciliation with the Count and gushed about her hopes for a "Prince Charming"—and though it didn't work out with her fave Frenchman, we're happy the two remain friends.
