Did RHOBH Change Kyle Richards and Mauricio's Marriage? Let Farrah Explain...
Kyle's eldest daughter weighs in on the RHOBH marriage.
Kyle Richards' daughter Farrah Aldjufrie has watched her mom and stepdad Mauricio Umansky's romance bloom since day one. The 31-year-old real estate agent has been there since the beginning for her mom's time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as well. This all means she has unique insight into how being on reality TV has affected their two-decade plus marriage.
“[The show] has definitely has made them stronger 100 percent and they are just the cutest honestly,” Farrah told Us Weekly's Getting Real with the Housewives podcast about Kyle and Mauricio. “They have set such a great example for couples, married couples, people in relationships because they truly are a team.”
Farrah added that the experience of filming RHOBH and sharing their relationship with the world gives them a unique prospective on their marriage.
“Through the show, I think it just makes them appreciate their time together even more because they’re both so busy and he’s running a whole company and is one of the top agents in the country, and she has so many obligations," she said. “They try to spend a lot of time together and they really appreciate their time together. I definitely think it’s made them stronger.”
Kyle and Mauricio are also parents to three more daughters: Alexia, 24, Sophia, 20, and Portia, 12. Farrah is Kyle's daughter from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie, and Farrah is incredibly close to both her dads.
And in an interview with The Daily Dish in 2016, she noted that Mauricio and her dad are also pals.
"He's very, very close with my mom and Mauricio, like they're great, great, great friends. I always say I have two dads; they both raised me," Farrah explained at the time. "They both get along amazingly. They've done [real estate] deals together. My dad refers clients to Mauricio all the time. We all get together, he comes to our house for Christmas, Thanksgiving, it's all good. It's funny 'cause I'm an only child at one house [with my dad] and then I have this huge family at this other house [with my mom and three younger sisters], so it's kind of the best of both worlds. There's no real separation or divide."
