Scheana Shay Offers an Update on Her Relationship with Ex-Husband Mike Shay
So, does the former Vanderpump Rules couple keep in touch?
It seems like a lifetime ago that fans watched as Scheana Shay wed Mike Shay in front of their family and friends. That was, of course, many seasons ago on Vanderpump Rules (Season 3, to be exact). After a little over two years of marriage, the couple later divorced back in 2017 after dealing with issues including Mike's struggle with addiction.
These days, Scheana has moved on and is planning out her future. She froze her eggs last year, and 2019 also brought a new love for the SURver: hunky Australian rugby player Brock Davies.
When Scheana appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday (January 21), she offered an update on where things stand with her former spouse these days. The "Good as Gold" singer noted that of all the beaus she's shared her life with on the series, "he's the only one I'm still in touch with."
She added, "He is [doing OK]. I mean, I think he's still kind of finding himself, but he's happy and he's doing well."
Scheana also reflected on her previous relationships in an episode of her Scheananigans podcast in November. She was joined by Brock for the episode — and, in it, she discussed why she was so impressed by ex Rob Valletta's TV hanging skills. Yes, it relates to Shay.
"Shay, great person. I loved him. I married him, obviously. I was the handyman of the house. I was the one who put everything together and hung everything up," she said late last year. "So when I started dating Rob, I was like, oh my god, he put the hitch on my car and he hung a TV. I was so impressed by the dumbest, littlest things. And I felt like I needed to overcompensate and just shove him down people's throats because I'm like, oh my god, look, I'm with a man! And he's older and he does all these things. And I just bragged so much. It was so annoying."
