Work hard, play hard sure seems to be the motto for Married to Medicine friends Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe. The ladies took a brief break from their incredibly busy lives as doctors to spend some quality time with each other (and their families) as they headed to Contessa’s lake house in Lake Oconee, which is in Buckhead, Georgia. Dr. Heavenly shared some of the highlights of their super fun trip with her followers, and it looks like everyone had an absolute blast on the water.

In a September 21 Instagram post, Heavenly shared a collection of photos of the crew preparing for a day in the sun. “Riding out!” she captioned the post, which included a selfie, and a few shots of the friends and their children climbing aboard the boat.

In another post, Heavenly shared a video showing her snuggled up to her husband, Damon, as they take an exciting boat ride across the lake. “Sunday funday!” she captioned the post. “Great food great fun with great friends.”

Although it seemed to be pretty windy on their boat ride, Heavenly didn't appear to mind at all. In response to a follower who jokingly commented, "Them eye lashes started shaking lol. Favorite GA couple," the dentist replied, "They flew off!" What a perfect end to summer!

In a third post, Heavenly gave her son, Zach, a shout-out for his impressive boating skills. “My baby boy Zach was the captain!” she wrote. “Thanks @Drcontessa @scottmetcalfemd for a fantastic Sunday!”
