Was This the "Most Dramatic Exit" in Below Deck History?

Elizabeth Frankini and the rest of the My Seanna crew open up about the stew's memorable departure.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Elizabeth Frankini was let go at the end of this season of Below Deck, but the stew wasn't going to "leave without a fight," as she put it during the Below Deck After Show, which you can view, above.

"It happened, and then I was like, all right, now I got to full charge, fight for my position, because that's how strongly I felt I deserved to be there," Elizabeth reflected on the moment. "I would be a good addition to this team still. I would be a great addition. I would add value to these charters."

Many of Elizabeth's fellow My Seanna crew members also took note of her emotional departure from the yacht, including deckhand Izzy Wouters, who remembered it as "quite honestly the most dramatic exit of any job I've ever seen" in the Below Deck After Show.

Recalling the issues between Elizabeth and chief stew Francesca Rubi this season, Izzy said that she wished Elizabeth had done a better job of keeping her emotions in check as she made her way off the yacht. "I love you so much, but I wish you had some dignity and not give Francesca the satisfaction of begging for your job," Izzy said. "At this point, it's done, you're going. Just take it on the chin and have your meltdown later. Don't give her the satisfaction of your reaction."

As for Francesca, she said in the Below Deck After Show that she found Elizabeth's actions following her firing to be a bit puzzling. "I don't understand why she was pleading. Like, she wasn't having a good time, was she?" Francesca wondered. "We weren't having a good time with her on board. Like, why would you stay on a boat when you don't have that relationship with the interior crew? Like, why?"

Elizabeth did have a friend in Chef Rachel Hargrove, who was there to help see her off the yacht. "The fact that I was up there helping Elizabeth pack, it's nice to have a friend up there with you," Rachel recalled in the Below Deck After Show.

Elizabeth also shared that she was "so appreciative" to have Rachel there with her during that difficult time.
