Exclusive Video: What Healthy Snack Does Anderson Cooper Think Is 'Disgusting'?

Plus, he talks about the Kathy Griffin mole incident and whether Ryan Seacrest is 'a fraud.'

By Mike Hess

There's no denying that Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper simply have some magical chemistry between them. Whether it's hosting New Year's Eve together on CNN or they're together on Kathy, the two are like peanut butter and chocolate: Good on their own, superb when combined. And you've probably already seen their hysterical show from last night, so why  not keep the fun going on a Friday with a little exclusive behind-the-scenes video goodness?

In this exclusive clip shot in Anderson's dressing room before the show, he and Kathy start the conversation about K's infamous 'Mole' question, but quickly Anderson's attention turned towards Kathy's choice of a backstage snack for her guests. As Anderson pondered a package of roasted seaweed leaves, the conversation shifts. "Can I ask seriously about these," Anderson begins, hinting at his disgust for the toasted vegetation.

"Roasted seaweed snacks? I tried to taste one," he says, when Kathy interrupts and jokes that it's something Ryan Seacrest would eat. "He drinks a shake of something like this," Cooper says, prompting Kathy to joke that because Anderson and Ryan are friends doesn't mean he needs to defend him, then going the extra step and saying Anderson thinks Ryan is a fraud.

"I don't think he's a fraud," Cooper laughs, shifting his dismay back towards the seaweed, which he's trying to put back into its bag. "I'm trying to put this back because it's so disgusting," he says with some vigor. Good to know: The Silver Fox doesn't dig roasted seaweed.
