While chef Dave White and chief stew Natasha Webb were navigating their sometimes-strained relationship and breakup on Season 7 of Below Deck Mediterranean, another boatmance was blossoming between two other crew members.

Deckhand-turned-bosun Storm Smith and second stew Natalya Scudder became an item while they were aboard Home, though their relationship hit troubled waters a few times throughout the season.

On the Season 7 finale, which aired on November 14, the two left the yacht promising to stay in touch, but they separately recognized that their relationship probably wasn’t going anywhere. Storm has since gone public with girlfriend Chloe Griffin, who happens to be a chief stew on a superyacht.

During a post-finale appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Natalya and Below Deck Adventure chief stew Faye Clarke talked about the Below Deck Med romance.

In the video above, host Andy Cohen asks Faye if it was “sweet or a red flag” when Storm gifted Natalya an expensive gold watch so soon in their relationship. (Storm later admitted he had actually purchased the piece to give to his sister.)

“Red flag,” Faye quickly responds.

Natalya Scudder and Faye Clarke Think Boatmances Are Not Built to Last

Then, when the duo play a game of “1, 2, Agree or Disagree,” Natalya notes that boatmances generally don’t go anywhere.

“Boatmances are not built to last and will always fizzle out on land,” Andy states, and both Faye and Natalya agree.

Natalya and Storm will likely discuss what happened between them after filming at the Below Deck Med reunion, which is set to air on Tuesday, November 22, at 8/7c.
