Garcelle Beauvais Welcomes a New Family Member: “Absolutely in Love”
The RHOBH cast member said she's "totally obsessed" with the addition.
Garcelle Beauvais has a new love in her life. And she’s “totally obsessed.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom took to Instagram on Wednesday (November 8) to introduce fans to her newest — and furriest — family addition. “Hey, guys. So I’ve been wanting to share this with you,” she began in the video. “I am absolutely in love. Are you ready? I’m ready.”
After a few seconds of suspense, Garcelle picked up an adorable puppy and showed him off to the camera.
“Meet Kobe. Oh my god. I’m obsessed!” she continued. “It’s an early birthday present. Isn’t he the sweetest? I’m totally obsessed.”
Garcelle, who will celebrate her birthday later this month, also posted a photo of her hugging the golden brown pooch in front of a rose wall.
“Kobe Marshmallow Beauvais,” she captioned the carousel, followed by the hashtag “in love.”
Housewives gush over Garcelle Beauvais' new puppy
The Instagram garnered more than 25,000 “likes” and more than 1,000 comments, including one from Garcelle’s oldest son, Oliver Saunders, who wrote: “OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.” The post also received gushing replies from other Bravolebrities, including The Real Housewives of Miami’s Guerdy Abraira and Alexia Nepola, as well as RHOB’s Kyle Richards and RHOB newbie Annemarie Wiley.
“Cannot handle the cuteness!!!” the latter wrote. “Bring him over so my kids can play with him please and thank you.”
Dorit Kemsley echoed Annemarie, commenting: “Aww congrats!!! He’s gorgeous!!! So happy for all of you!”
In addition to all the love and compliments, Kobe was also showered with some adorable gifts. A day after introducing the pup, Garcelle returned to Instagram to showcase the “Hairmes” dog gift set she received from Hales Labradoodles, as well as a gift basket from her son Jaid’s girlfriend. The basket contained some treats, chew sticks, and several Kong toys.
Garcelle Beauvais' Family Dog, Bear
This, of course, isn’t the first time Garcelle has taken on “puppy mom” duties. In a 2017 interview with Best Friends, the actress spoke about her family’s shih tzu–Lhasa apso named Bear.
"He just fit into our family from the moment we saw him. From day one, he adapted and endeared himself to us in every way,” she told the publication, before confirming they had rescued the dog from a local shelter. “I told the boys not to fall in love with the first dog they saw — that’s when Jax said, ‘too late.’” It was love at first sight … he keeps my boys so happy.”
