Did Gina Kirschenheiter Fight With Emily to Get Closer to the Other 'Wives?

On Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, fans have watched as Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson grow apart in their friendship, with a definite distance opening up between the two once-close pals. Gina shared her side and offered up her reasons for that on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

"I think I understand why it comes off that [as mean girl]. I have a hard time. I feel like a lot of of the time in my friendship with Emily, I've been thinking about it a lot, and I feel like honestly, I have been almost protecting Emily in a way that I used to protect my ex-husband," she explained. "And it's very difficult for me because I care about her and I love her, but there's a lot of things that I think she does that is not how I have friendships."

She continued, "And there's examples of them that we're not gonna actually go into on Watch What Happens Live. But they're there. We'll get into them at the [Season 14] reunion, exactly."

Gina then noted that it took a lot of reflection for her to come to this conclusion about her relationship with the fellow OC mom. "It's hard for me. It's a hard thing for me because I do love her, but she's confusing to me," she said. "Our friendship is confusing."

Above and below, the two pals chat about their issues in the Season 14 After Show.
