Hannah Ferrier Just Spilled a Behind-the-Scenes Secret We Never Would've Guessed
The Below Deck Med chief stew was going through something very difficult at that time.
Can you believe it's been almost four years since the very first season of Below Deck Mediterranean premiered? Neither can we. But Hannah Ferrier just reminded us of her inaugural season as chief stew with a memory she would probably like to forget.
Hannah let us in on a little behind-the-scenes secret from Season 1 of Below Deck Med on Instagram on April 9. The chief stew revealed that when she was filming one of her interviews for that season, four years ago, she was actually sick with mono. "Who says I’m not passionate about my job?!?!" Hannah said in the caption to the post, which featured two photos of herself getting her makeup done for the interview. As you can see, Hannah's makeup artist wore a face mask and gloves for protection around the ailing chief stew.
This is pretty shocking to hear since you would never know Hannah was under the weather during some of the interviews in her first season of Below Deck Med. We only remember her looking absolutely amazing throughout the season.
These days, Hannah has been self-quarantined amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, much like the rest of the world. She has been staying inside with her boyfriend, with whom she celebrated their one-year anniversary in October 2019.
Hannah has also been keeping up with the newest Below Deck franchise, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, which premiered in February. She actually has a lot of love for her Below Deck Sailing Yacht counterpart, Jenna MacGillivray. "I know people who have worked with her and she’s an extremely hard worker and a great Chief Stew," Hannah tweeted about Jenna in March.
