How Aviva Drescher Quelled Her Anxiety
The RHONY star is ready to introduce a health supplement called Vivacalm.
Aviva Drescher has overcome many hardships in her life: her childhood accident that left her with a prosthetic leg and a drama-filled two seasons on RHONY. There's also, of course, that intriguing shot of her prosthetic limb laying on the floor in the new trailer for RHONY.
Sure, she's a fixture on the New York social scene, but privately, Aviva has been trying to cope with nervous energy and she's had a difficult time trying to quell it. "I have struggled with anxiety since my childhood accident," she tells the Dish. "I find that medication has so many side effects such as drowsiness so it never really worked for me."
She's found something to help her ease her pain. And now Aviva is ready to introduce a new stick pack supplement called VivaCalm, which she says has helped fight stress in her life. "I am excited to say I found a natural supplement that helped me achieve balance," says Aviva, who created the line alongside Vitamin Guru Keith Frankel and GNC's Tom Dowd.
"Vivacalm is all natural and works better than medication without any side effects," she adds. "So many of us are suffering from magnesium deficiency which causes anxiety, sleeplessness and stress. This really helps."
The Stick Pack Supplements, which will be sold at GNCs around the country starting in March, features a Magnesium supplement with Calcium, Potassium & Vitamin D to balance electrolytes and restore healthy magnesium levels, which some physicians say are key factors in support of a positive mood.
"It tastes so good," Aviva says. "It comes in flavors such as delicious lemon and berry."
Aviva is currently working on the brand's development--it's still in production--but she's excited to reveal more details on her website soon.
