Teresa Giudice Refuses to Be in a Long Distance Relationship

With Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice waiting to find out what happens next in Joe's deportation case, we're learning a bit more on how The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom is handling the situation. Her brother, Joe Gorga, offered an update on his sister in a recent interview with Us Weekly.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

“Teresa’s put up a good front, but our relationship is very tight right now and [I] know she breaks down to me. She just has to keep it strong for those for little girls," he said, referring to the four Giudice daughters. "The girls are having it rough also. They’re really struggling. … It’s just very, very hard. The family is going through a very tough time right now.”

Meanwhile Teresa has definitely been staying strong and keeping it business as usual as she attends to her life as a busy mom. And it appears that she's also leaning on the support of her friends and family as well as working out while she awaits word on what's next for her husband.

Joe was released from prison in March following the completion of his 41-month sentence. Family attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., told The Daily Dish in a statement that he was then moved "to a facility in western Pennsylvania which houses immigration detainees."

Now, he is currently waiting on a decision to be made in connection to an appeal filed in November 2018 by his team after a judge ruled in October 2018 that he would be deported back to Italy upon the completion of his sentence. On March 14, his attorney told The Daily Dish in a statement that now “his lawyers and his family are hopeful that justice will prevail and Mr. Giudice will return home to his wife and four daughters who love him and miss him" when it comes to his appeal.
