Where Do James Kennedy and His Mom Stand Today?
The Vanderpump Rules DJ gives an update on his relationship with his mom, Jacqueline Georgiou, after their explosive discussions this season.

James Kennedy's mother, Jacqueline Georgiou, has made a few appearances on Vanderpump Rules this season, filming with James and Lisa Vanderpump, so we saw James and his mom came at odds during the season when he tried to set boundaries with her (clip above). So did that confrontation do damage to their relationship?
In a recent interview with The Daily Dish podcast, James gave an update about how he and his mom are getting along today.
"Mom is doing good," James said. "I love my mom so much and she's amazing."
He also revealed that he didn't know she was filming with other people on Vanderpump Rules.
"She really filmed a lot more than I thought she was this year. And that took me by surprise because she didn't really tell me about a lot of the filming days. I'd be walking into SUR and I'd see my mom come out and I'm like, 'Uh, hi. What are you doing here?'" he recalled.
When asked whether reliving the emotional scenes with his mom has helped or hurt their relationship, James said, "It all helps. Nothing hurt. Watching it back with my mom, I think it's cute that we've got this footage; I think we did talk about real topics and I've had some amazing feedback. I've got a lot of mothers that message me about it and when I say that, I'm being dead serious, about issues they're going through."
In sum: "I think that I'm projecting realness through this show and I think that watching it back with my mom, we know what we're doing here. We're not embarrassed; we don't worry about what the f--k people are thinking about me. I'm in New York City, I'm DJing shows around the world right now. Life's good and I love my mom for everything that she is."
