Newly Blonde Jasmine Ellis Cooper and Her Baby Meet President Biden In Adorable New Pic
He may only be two months old, but Jasmine and Silas Cooper's son, Si, has already made some impressive connections!
He may be just a few months old, but Jasmine Ellis Cooper’s son has already rubbed elbows with the nation’s Commander in Chief.
A newly blonde Jasmine and baby Si met President Joe Biden during a special event Saturday at the White House for military kids and their families. As fans may remember, baby Si’s father, Silas Cooper, was on the first season of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard alongside his wife before the Army officer was deployed overseas to Eastern Europe.
“Even though he’s a 2-month-old baby, Si is a military baby,” Jasmine told The Daily Dish. “Our Military Kids included us in the workout of a lifetime at the White House with Dr. and President Biden along with other military families in D.C.”
Why did Jasmine Cooper and Baby Si meet President Biden?
The “Joining Forces Military Kids Workout” was held on the South Lawn of the White House and had Jasmine feeling the burn.
“We had refreshments and an intense workout which I did most of with Si strapped to me in his baby carrier,” Jasmine revealed.
After the high-powered cardio session, attendees got to meet President Biden. An adorable shot of the mother-son duo, shows Jasmine — sporting a new blonde bob — carrying Si in a carrier on her chest as she poses in front of a casually dressed President Biden.
Other snaps showed the morning workout, Dr. Jill Biden addressing the crowd, and Si’s dapper outfit he wore to meet the nation’s Commander in Chief, which included an ivory pullover collared sweater and soft gray sweatpants.
“I sent Silas Sr photos and we laughed at how Si had no idea that he toured the White House and met the president,” Jasmine joked.
The event, which was put on by Dr. Jill Biden and Our Military Kids in honor of the Month of the Military Child, also gave Jasmine a chance to connect with other military families.
“It felt great to lean on service members and their families for support, resources and laughs,” she told The Daily Dish.

Could These Controversial Houseguests Make a Return to Summer House: Martha's Vineyard?
"Welcome Home Silas 'Si' Geplay Cooper Jr.," she announced on Instagram about a week later, along with a carousel of images of the new mom holding baby Si in his nursery.
Jasmine told NBC’s Today that during the early days of motherhood she relied on support from her mom and grandmother, along with regular video check-ins from Silas.
“There's so many women around me that are just constantly making sure that I'm eating, that the baby's good, so I think it's given him peace of mind,” she said of the new father’s mindset.
She described her tiny new son as “very observant” and “very particular.”
"He's really big on Baby Mozart. That's been like his jam,” she shared with Today. “He's a little sophisticated individual. And he loves to eat and he loves when I read to him. Those are like the big three things that save me every day."
Jasmine has not only had to navigate the early months of motherhood on her own, but she also spent the majority of the pregnancy apart from her husband as he fulfilled his military duty.
When she first arrived to film Season 2 of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard, Jasmine initially tried to keep her pregnancy news a secret from the rest of her castmates, explaining that she had simply decided to embark on a “sober summer.”
But before the trip’s end, Jasmine let her housemates in on the happy secret and enjoyed having some extra support from her friends.
"I definitely used that pregnancy card, full stop,” she told Today, adding that she didn’t shy away from asking for help. "’Hey, can you grab me this? I'm so hungry. I'm so tired. Could you give me that blanket?' It was nice. It was very nice."
