Did Jax Use Paige Woolen to Get Under Brittany's Skin? Jasmine Goode Says...
The Valley cast member suggested Jax Taylor intentionally sparked dating rumors amid his split with Brittany Cartwright.
Jax Taylor caused a bit of a stir this week when he was spotted hanging out with influencer/model Paige Woolen. Photographs of the pair immediately sparked dating rumors and led many to believe Jax had officially moved on from his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright. Although The Valley dad eventually shut down those whispers, his castmate Jasmine Goode wasn’t convinced that the Jax-Paige outing was innocent.
The former SURver-turned-realtor addressed the topic during a May 28 sitdown with Us Weekly, suggesting Jax was using Paige to get under Brittany’s skin.
“That’s what I think he’s doing,” Jasmine said. “I think he sees Brittany thriving and being happy and shining and maybe that’s rubbing him the wrong way, possibly. I think Jax is so used to Brittany just kind of falling in line and always being there, ride or die, which that is one thing I love about Brittany: She will ride for you. But I think he took that for granted and now he’s scrambling.”

Jasmine, who has known Jax since his Vanderpump Rules days, says the alleged stunt was confusing but not at all shocking.
“I’m not surprised. Typical. Something that Jax does,” she said about his pictures with Paige. “I don’t know the level of this — who this woman is or what’s going on there. I just feel like — I don’t know if I believe it. He just moves in a ways where I’m like, ‘I thought you were trying to get back with Brittany. I’m confused.’”

Jasmine told the outlet she had not heard from Brittany since the Jax-Paige photographs were published; however, she said the mother of one is living her best life since separating from Jax.
“I think Brittany, honestly, her being away from Jax has brought this confidence and fire in her,” Jasmine continued. “She’s just been thriving. I’ve never seen her happier right now. She just took the Jax out and now she’s winning, thriving. She’s happy, she’s on her fitness goal… It’s like a breath of fresh air just to see her so happy.”
Jax shares an update on his and Brittany's co-parenting relationship
Brittany and Jax announced their split about three months ago as they approached their fifth wedding anniversary. The estranged couple has not taken any steps toward legal separation and has maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship for their 3-year-old son, Cruz Cauchi. Jax proved this on Tuesday, May 28, when he shared his and Brittany’s text exchange concerning their little boy.
“You okay with this outfit..,” Jax asked after sending a photo of Cruz's ensemble.
Brittany, who was out of town for work-related reasons, greenlit the outfit and said Cruz looked so “handsome.”
“Even though moms away for work we still get the outfit approval!” Jax captioned the post.
