Jo Wenberg Disses Tom Schwartz's New Girlfriend Sophia Skoro: "He's Dating a Fan"

Tom Schwartz is using the "L word" with his new girlfriend, Sophia Skoro, but there's one person in his life who isn't in love with his new relationship: Jo Wenberg.

Following his split from Katie Maloney, Schwartz had a complicated situationship with the hairstylist which came to an end on Vanderpump Rules Season 11. Months later, Schwartz began dating Sophia — and Jo reacted to the relationship during a recent Instagram Live session. 

Commenting on his current connection with Sophia, Jo said, "I think Tom Schwartz is dating a fan. Sorry, I mean, I just know that for a fact."

"And I think that that's amazing..." she added, although it wasn't clear if she was joking or not. "Like, let's just let him do his thing."

Jo's friend, who also appeared on the Live, chimed in to note that Schwartz is "entitled to date whoever he wants," and Jo agreed. 

"Exactly," Jo responded.

Jo Wenberg thinks she's "the one that got away" for Tom Schwartz

As for her reaction to her own split from Schwartz, which took place on Season 11, Episode 11, Jo had a cryptic response.

"It is what it is, it is what it's not," she said on her Instagram Live. She also believes that she will have a lasting impact on Schwartz as he moves forward in his dating life. 

"I think I was the one that got away," she said, before reflecting on her mood when she was dating Schwartz. "It's a sad topic to talk about, you guys, 'cause it's like I was never more happy."

In case you need a refresher, after months of hooking up, Schwartz came to the conclusion that his situationship with Jo would not be progressing into a relationship.

"By that point, I had made up my mind definitively that I did not want to be in a relationship with Jo," he explained on the Vanderpump Rules After Show about what went through his mind after the singles' mixer on Season 11, Episode 11. "I don't want to relegate her to a rebound girl because I don't think she was."

Though Schwartz didn't see himself being romantically involved with Jo, he still cared for her as a friend. 

"We became really close friends, too," he continued. "It wasn't just an occasional hookup buddy."
