Joe Giudice Has a New "Juicy Joe Motto" as He (Literally) Rolls Into 2020
The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband has a different attitude than the man we saw on the show.
Joe Giudice is figuring out the kind of man he wants to be by looking back at the guy he once was.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband recently shared a throwback clip from Season 3 of the show in which he does a roll before hitting his head on the floor in the foyer of his house. "Rolling into New Years!! Yep that’s me! A New Year's resolution is something that went in one ear and out the other!" Joe said of his former attitude toward the new year in a post on Instagram on December 31. "Well, not today. I sat with myself in Rome and reflected about how I’m jumping into 2020."
Joe went on to share his new "Juicy Joe motto" as he heads into 2020: "Don’t regret anything, think twice, ask, absorb, be a sponge, and be humble and patient to my new surroundings!"
The upcoming new year has Joe thinking a lot about the past and how he wants to change in the future. Joe has recently been sharing photos of his some of his most cherished memories with loved ones from the past on Instagram.
He also shared what he has learned about "acceptance" this year in an emotional post on Instagram on December 28. "This year, I have done a lot of self-reflection. I now know to be happy and content with who I am and what I have: food, bed, air, girls, and family. I learned in there all you have to do is love yourself and be the BEST!" he wrote in a post that featured photos from his daughters' recent trip to visit him in Italy. "I’m letting go of 2019 with my beautiful girls but promising them the BEST of ME IN 2020!! They make me proud in so many ways and are my treasures."
In another post on Instagram, Joe showed remorse for his actions that led to him to go to prison and vowed to change moving forward. "The day I left over four years ago to go in is shown in this scene. It was [the] worst mistake I made hurting my babies! Today, I’m driving girls to Rome. I want you all to take this exciting ride into 2020!! It has been the best week of my life being us again!" Joe shared. "I read a quote in there which stuck with me: 'You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight. All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.' I’m willing to change for my girls."
Joe added that he has a "new outlook" and a new "beginning" as he approaches his 50th birthday.
