Joe Giudice Is Set to Fight in a Celebrity Boxing Match: "Comin' at You Baby"
The RHONJ dad will compete in three rounds against another celebrity opponent.
Joe Giudice recently noted that he feels like it is a “beautiful time for new beginnings,” and judging by the announcement he just made, he wasn’t playing around. The Real Housewives of New Jersey father, who shares four daughters with Teresa Giudice, revealed that he’s about to step into the ring for a few rounds of Celebrity Boxing.
According to a TMZ report, Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman says that Joe is set to fight in the Bahamas on October 24. The fight will be made up of three rounds, each lasting one minute and 30 seconds. Joe’s opponent is yet to be decided, but Damon did reveal that he is “open to anyone.”
“Comin’ at you, baby,” Joe said in a video for TMZ, in which he’s wearing boxing gloves and protective headgear while exhibiting his fighting skills in front of an incredibly scenic backdrop in Italy.
It appears that Joe has already started training for the event, as he’s been sharing plenty of workout videos on Instagram lately. In a May 16 post, he shared a look at the activities he’s been doing with his trainer, “Uncle Tony.”
“I’m going to do the extreme workout if I don’t pass out in this heat. This is the extreme workout right here,” Joe explained as he began lifting two massive cinder blocks that were secured to a barbell.
Joe has been living in his native Italy since his release from ICE custody last October. His most recent deportation appeal was denied on April 29. Joe’s attorney, James J. Leonard Jr. did mention that he has the ability to appeal the decision again, adding, “We have always maintained that Joe Giudice belongs in the United States with his family, not in Italy.”
