The Jersey 'Wives Open Up About Joe Giudice's Order of Deportation

As Teresa Giudice and her family await word on what's next in Joe Giudice's ongoing immigration and deportation case, her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, has revealed how the family is spending their time waiting to hear what will happen with the appeal on his deportation order.

"I think we just are waiting for the final answers right now. I mean we’ve all been down the shore at my beach house, so everyone’s kind of been there and the kids have been with us a lot too with the beach house. So we’re all just down the shore for the summer," Melissa told InTouch. "There’s nothing anyone can do and we’re just waiting for answers.”

The legal team for the The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband husband filed an opening brief as he appeals his deportation order last month. The 82-page brief was filed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on July 15.

Melissa added in an interview with OK Magazine, "Everyone is just kind of doing what they have to do... Everyone is just waiting patiently for answers. There’s just no answers, and it just feels like it’s being dragged on and on and on."

Joe, his legal team, and his family have been doing everything they can to keep him in the country after a judge ordered that he be deported back to Italy, where he was born, in October 2018, upon the completion of his 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. Joe has been staying in "a facility in western Pennsylvania, which houses immigration detainees" since he was released from federal prison in March.

Teresa recently opened up about the impact Joe's deportation would have on her and their four daughters if it were to become a reality in an exclusive video for Bravo Insider, which you can view, above.
