Joe Giudice is currently living in Sala Consilina, Italy, and dealing with the entire country being on lockdown in an effort to contain the spread of coronavirus. And The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband, who is separated from wife Teresa Giudice, has been giving updates amid the outbreak, sharing that while the streets in his town are completely empty, he insists on "walking around working" outside.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

And as more information comes out, Joe has the same attitude, feeling comfortable enough to spend time in the great outdoors. As he shared in an Instagram video featuring him walking down the street on a sunny day, "Today, they literally shut everything down. There's not even suppliers, no nothing open. No cafes, not anything today. So basically, they're containing this virus. I guess it's good in a way," Joe said, noting that he was still working. "But at least we got a couple of guys to come out and go to work today. So we're going to get something done today; better to do something than nothing. I can't just sit in the house all day."

He also noted in his caption, "Nonna said no visits till [ban] is lifted," which is following advice to minimize contact with elderly people, who are particularly susceptible to coronavirus.

In addition to working, Joe is also making sure to take time to enjoy himself. He shared a video of himself "up here in the mountains, staying out of the towns, cafes, and everything else having a little card game" with a few friends.

And while keeping out of public places as per the lockdown, Joe found himself hunting for wild asparagus. The things you discover in nature!

Joe also found himself turning to prayer among the coronavirus outbreak. He came across a shrine and prayed to "get rid of this coronavirus over here; do what you can, all right? Let us get back to living our lives."
