We Have an Update on Joe Gorga and John Fuda’s Friendship
Here's where Melissa Gorga's and Rachel Fuda's husbands stand after The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13.
Several of The Real Housewives of New Jersey husbands share a special bond. When Rachel Fuda first came onto the scene as a Season 13 rookie, Joe Gorga initiated her beau John Fuda into the husband circle in a very, ahem, waxy way. (Hear more about that Season 13 moment in the clip above.) So, where do Joe and John stand now? We have an update.
First, a word on what Melissa Gorga's husband has been up to lately. The contractor, who's dabbled in standup comedy in the past, just performed a comedy show for the first time in a while. Back in August, Joe shared in an Instagram post: "I'm Back! See you October 14th in Princeton, New Jersey!! Gonna be a fun night with [comedian Mike Marino]!"
Well, the show has since taken place — and guess who was in the audience?
Rachel Fuda and John Fuda attend Joe Gorga's standup show
In an October 15 Instagram post, Rachel shared a photo of herself and her husband on a date night in Princeton. The couple looked spiffy and smiley, with John wearing fitted jeans and Rachel in a cut-out white top with black pants and sharp stilettos.
"Had some [much-needed] laughs thanks to [Joey Gorga]!" the RHONJ cast member wrote. "Always love supporting our friends." In the comments, Joe wrote: "Love you guys," which sparked a mini lovefest. John responded to Joe's comment with a raised hand and clapping emojis, while Rachel wrote to Joe: "We love you!"
Joe Benigno, Margaret Josephs' husband, had also planned to attend the show. In an October 10 Instagram Story, Joe Gorga shared a clip of himself and his pal standing in the latter's yard. "I'm here with Joe Benigno," he said. "I'm gonna help him out, cut some trees down. We're like men — like men!"
Offering a look at their tools, Melissa's husband said: "Chainsaws! Look at all these trees we just cut down. You have me here working. That's what friends do: We take care of each other."
Margaret's husband took care of Joe, too, hopping into the frame of the Instagram Story to promote his friend's show. "You know what's happening on Saturday night? In Princeton, Joey's comedy show," he said. "You've gotta go. You gotta go! It's gonna be the best one ever."
Meanwhile, Joe's not just proving his comedy chops onstage. The dad of three has been showcasing his comedic work with Instagram clips that show him jokingly trying his hand at being a news anchor and a lawyer.
