Kathy Wakile Opens Up About Her "Evolution": See a Pic of Her New Look

Now that summer is well underway, Kathy Wakile has decided to embrace the warm weather and totally switch up her look. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom debuted a shimmering blonde 'do on Facebook and we're loving the lighter color on her. "And just like that I'm a Blonde! Actually, when done w/TLC , #brunette to #blonde is an evolution!" she wrote about the hair transformation. "Thank you @juliusmichael1 for knowing how important natural looking, healthy, shiny hair is to me! And for always surprising me! Love my haircut too."

It looks like going blonde is definitely contagious as Melissa Gorga premiered lighter locks back in February. Her hairstyle wasn't just eye-catching for fans — it also got the attention of her hubby, Joe Gorga. "I chopped it. I just went for it. You know what? I like change. I get sick of the same old thing and it just feels like it's fresh. It's something new. I just wanted to switch it up and it was so last minute," she told The Daily Dish at the time. "It was not pre-planned. It was last minute, [we] just chopped it off and here we go."
