Katie Maloney Defends Her Vanderpump Rules Premiere Party Look: "I Like to Take Risks"
Katie clapped back at people who critiqued her style for the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere party.
In December 2023, during an Instagram Q&A session with her followers, Katie Maloney explained what goes into her style choices after a fan asked her to "describe the vibe."
"It always depends on my mood," she shared, noting that her "self-expression" included what she thinks is "fun" and "FEELS GOOD [at] the time."
More recently, the Vanderpump Rules cast member again discussed the topic of her style, this time about what she wore to the Season 11 premiere screening and cocktail party that took place ahead of the season premiere. Keep reading to find out what Katie said about the look she wore that night.

For the occasion, which took place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California, Katie rocked a leopard-print slip dress over a sheer long-sleeve garment. She completed her look with black studded boots and earrings by Rare-Romance.

Following the event, Katie appeared on her new podcast, Disrespectfully, with Vanderpump Rules alum Dayna Kathan, and the pair spoke about how some people reacted to Katie's look for the party.
"You would have thought I rolled myself in sh-t and covered myself in feathers the way people talk," Katie joked on the podcast, further explaining the thought process behind her style.
"I like to wear stuff that maybe doesn't make sense to other people and is kind of taking a risk but [...] I like to experiment, I like to take risks," she shared. "Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I really don't care if everybody likes it. I like to wear what I like to wear and sometimes it makes sense to people [but] ... it's not gonna make sense to everybody, though."
Katie and Dayna continued by commenting on how some of the critiques were particularly unwelcome.
"I think some people are like, 'She just doesn't know how to dress for her body.' And when people try and make those comments about not dressing for your body ... first of all, shut the f-ck up," Katie explained, to which Dayna agreed, "Shut the f-ck up immediately."
