Less than a year after Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval's breakup rocked the friend group, Vanderpump Rules officially returned for Season 11 on Tuesday, January 30.
While cast members Ariana, Lisa Vanderpump, Lala Kent, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, James Kennedy, and Scheana Shay were all present on the premiere, as were friends Ally Lewber, and Brock Davies, Sandoval only popped up just a few seconds before the episode concluded.

"He's in New Zealand shooting some sort of competition show," Ariana responded, referencing Sandoval's recent career venture.
Then later on in the episode, when Katie met with her ex-husband to grab Gordo and Butter, the dogs they continue to co-parent, the pair discussed Sandoval's latest gig.
"He's with a drill sergeant," Schwartz told Katie about the experience. "He's going to boot camp."
After missing most of the episode because he was in New Zealand, Sandoval returned to his home in Valley Village in the final moments of the Season 11 premiere.
"Hello?" Sandoval said as he rolled his suitcase in and went up the stairs. The episode concluded before viewers could find out what would happen next.
What to Expect from Tom Sandoval on Vanderpump Rules Season 11
According to his official bio for the new episodes, Sandoval is "working on bettering himself" on Season 11.
"In a fragile state, he focuses on repairing the foundations of his friendships," his bio continues. "When he isn’t on the road touring with his band, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, he and Ariana live under the same roof... locked in a stalemate for the house."
