Jolie Is Self-Quarantining with Kelly Dodd's Mom — and the Family Resemblance Is Strong

The RHOC grandmother is helping out while Kelly is in NYC with fiancé Rick Leventhal.

Kelly Dodd and fiancé Rick Leventhal are back in NYC amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, where Rick has been covering the news. She gave an update upon their return, where the two were "on set" in Times Square (in the video above). The Real Housewives of Orange County mom also shared where her daughter, Jolie, was staying as Kelly and Rick were in New York.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

"My daughter, Jolie, is with my mom, which is good because my mom's a homebody. So, it's perfect," Kelly previously shared.

And we now know how the two are doing stuck at home: pretty well, from the look of things! Kelly posted a photo of her mom, Bobbi, and Jolie, and we're struck by the physical similarities that have been passed down the generations.

"Thanks Mom for watching Jolie while I’ve been in NYC!! My loves," she wrote alongside a photo of the two of them.

While Kelly and her mom were previously estranged following the time her mom and brother were living with her in the OC a couple of years ago, the two reconciled in 2019, and it appears they've only grown closer from there. The rift had also impacted Jolie's relationship with her grandmother at the time, so it's great to see the the family is back together again.

In September 2019, Kelly actually credited RHOC with helping her relationship with her mom and brother following years of not speaking: "I'm on really good terms with my brother and my mom," she said. "They were at my house all weekend, for a week. They've come twice this summer, 'cause they live in Arizona. So, yeah, I mean, we are back to where we were before. So, you know, there's this really good thing about the show is that it really brought my mom and my brother [and me] back together. So, hopefully, next season you'll see more of them. You can see them this season, but you know, my mom's doing very well."
