Kelly Dodd Offers an Update on Her Relationship with Her Mom and Brother

As The Real Housewives of Orange County crew prepared to head on a little girls' trip to Arizona in Tuesday night's episode, Kelly Dodd was reminded of her loved ones back in her home state — and her tense relationship with them.

Kelly revealed during the episode that a rift had formed in her relationship with her mother, Bobbi, and younger brother, Eric, while they were living with her in California a couple of years ago, which we saw in past seasons of RHOC (clip above). "They said it'll only be a few months. Well, those few months turned into a year-and-a-half, and I felt like my mom and Eric were taking advantage of me, and it caused my mom and me to get in a big, huge fight. They moved back to Arizona," she said. "So, the last time I talked to my mom was almost two years ago."

Kelly was anticipating Tuesday's episode of RHOC to be very difficult to relive during a recent interview with ET. "I'm dreading to watch all of it back," she shared. "It's gonna be really hard for me to watch this season."

Since this season of RHOC, Kelly has worked on her relationship with her mom and brother. She told ET that things are now "very good" between them. "I'm on really good terms with my brother and my mom," she said. "They were at my house all weekend, for a week. They've come twice this summer, 'cause they live in Arizona. So, yeah, I mean, we are back to where we were before. So, you know, there's this really good thing about the show is that it really brought my mom and my brother [and me] back together. So, hopefully, next season you'll see more of them. You can see them this season, but you know, my mom's doing very well."

Kelly's mom recently came out to California to see her daughter's new business in action. 

She also clocked some precious time with Kelly's daughter Jolie.
