Camille Grammer Responds to Kelsey Grammer's Recent Accusations About Their Marriage
"It’s unfortunate that he is rewriting history," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom said.
Camille Grammer is speaking out on some accusations her ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer, made during a recent interview.
Kelsey opened up about his last marriage, although he did not say Camille's name, during an interview with Graham Bensinger last week. “Honestly, I don’t really talk about her very much, because so much of her life is spent talking about me, and I just think it’s sort of pathetic,” he said.
He then went on to recall the moment he realized that he no longer wanted to be married to Camille. "A month after I had a heart attack, my mother died — 12 years ago now — the day of my mother’s funeral, my third wife basically had an explosion about something. And started to tell me, ‘I’m out of this, I’m out of here.' Again. 'I want a divorce.' Blah, blah, blah, which, we’d had the same conversation for eight years, and it was tiresome," he explained. "I realized at that moment that I was done with her, that I was not gonna end up in this relationship for much longer. And somewhere under a year, I was done."
Camille addressed Kelsey's comments on Twitter on Thursday, November 14. "This is not true," Camille tweeted. "My parents were with us in the Hamptons when we received the news about his [mom's] passing. We consoled him and flew back to LA to make arrangements for her funeral."
She added, "It’s unfortunate that he is rewriting history."
Camille and Kelsey's relationship since their divorce in 2011 has been a rocky road as they co-parent their two children, daughter Mason and son Jude. Though they appeared to be on better terms in recent years, Mason confirmed that her parents were not speaking during an interview with Genlux in December 2018. The lack of communication between the exes allegedly continued even after Camille lost her home in the California wildfires last year.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills exes came to a resolution regarding expenses for Jude's boarding school and a custody arrangement for their son in September.
Camille and Kelsey have both remarried since their split. Kelsey tied the knot with Kayte Walsh in 2011, while Camille said "I do" to David C. Meyer in 2018. RHOBH fans got to witness their nuptials in Hawaii last season.
