Kyle Warned Lindsay that Carl Wanted the Marriage More than the Actual Relationship
On Summer House Season 8, Episode 6, Kyle Cooke said that Carl Radke's been ignoring "red flags" in his relationship.
Heading into Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard's scheduled November wedding date, many of the Summer House-mates were having doubt about the relationship — including Lindsay and Carl themselves.
After discussing her intimacy issues with Carl with a few of the other ladies, Lindsay opened up to Carl's bestie, Kyle Cooke, on Season 8, Episode 6 (which aired on March 28) about what the two have been facing in their relationship as their wedding date approaches.
In an intense moment, Kyle shared his perspective on the matter, as someone who has known both Lindsay and Carl as individuals for years.

During a "Christmas in July" themed outing, Lindsay and Kyle took a few minutes by the bar to have a one-on-one conversation. Kyle said that he's heard both sides of Lindsay and Carl's recent relationship issues, and he wants them to really take the time to work things out.
"As friends to both of you, I hear the pain in both of your voices," he told Lindsay. "My two cents, from [Carl's] perspective, look, ever since I got serious with Amanda [Batula], he's wanted a relationship. He's told me that, for years. And, right now, he's in tunnel-vision mode, like, 'This wedding's happening.'"
As a result, Kyle said, Carl is so eager to get married that he may be overlooking some of the problems that he has with Lindsay. "He's basically so committed to seeing this thing through, he's pushing through some of the red flags," the Loverboy founder continued. "Not even the red flags, some of the hardships."
"Getting married, he wants this so bad," Kyle added.
"He wants the marriage more than, like, the actual relationship?" Lindsay asked for clarification. "Because that's what you're basically telling me right now."
"What I'm saying is, I know he loves you," Kyle reiterated. "He wants this so bad, and what I want you guys to do is try to work through some of this stuff."

After hearing what Kyle had to say about her relationship with Carl, Lindsay began to tear up about how she feels pressure to always be "happy" around him. "I really don't want to cry tonight," Lindsay said to Kyle. "I've already spent so much time crying about this. This was, like, my one night."
Kyle acknowledged that the two didn't need to keep talking about a serious topic while they were out, but he left Lindsay with one final message.
"I just want you to know, I'm here for you and Carl," he concluded.
