Kyle Richards' Daughter Portia Celebrated Her Graduation and Is Headed to 7th Grade
"My whole family cried our eyes out today," the RHOBH mom said of the bittersweet occasion.
It’s a big day for Kyle Richards’ family! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom shared that her youngest daughter, Portia Umansky, has officially graduated from sixth grade.
Kyle announced the news with a series of photos from the family’s celebration, where Portia wore a graduation cap and posed for pictures with her sisters.
“Our youngest @portia_umansky graduated today. Leaving behind the school that my husband also attended when he came from Mexico as a child and three of my four girls also attended,” wrote Kyle. “I have been driving up to that carpool every day for 16 years and now we are leaving. Portia is going to a new school for 7th grade!”
Understandably, it was an emotional and bittersweet day for the entire family.
“We are so proud of you Portia!! My whole family cried our eyes out today,” Kyle wrote. “We will miss the love and sense of community we had at @wiseschoolla and the amazing teachers and faculty. Thank you for helping us educate and raise our children. I’m sad we were not able to hug goodbye today but know you are so appreciated and adored.”
This isn’t the first time Kyle has been in disbelief over how quickly Portia’s growing up lately. In a May 9 Instagram post, she shared a look at her daughter’s new, blonder hair, writing, “I can’t believe how big this one is getting. I love you @portia_umansky.”
