The wise words came after moderator S.E. Cupp asked Kyle to share her advice for anyone on the panel "going through some stuff," whether that's experiencing a challenge or reaching a milestone.

Kyle, who’s been open about the fact that she's going through a lot in her marriage to Mauricio Umansky, paused and thought carefully. Read on to hear her answer.

Kyle Richards' Advice She Shared at BravoCon 2023

“Historically, from the beginning when something's been going on, I often don't want to call out the other person in a situation,” Kyle said. “So it can be confusing sometimes.”

Kyle explained her strategy, and why she’s come to reconsider it. “I did that just to make things easier, but it actually makes things more difficult for yourself.”

Kyle added that she thought her way of dealing would avoid an argument, so she avoided direct confrontation, especially if it involved someone she loved — family, friends, and so on.

Instead of saying, “This is exactly what happened. You know what happened,” she said she stifled herself. But she’s come to see that being straight-up from the get-go is the better route.

“I would just say don't hold back and try to save that person,” she said. “Because they're not going to be doing that for you.”
