Is Lala Kent Selling Her Palm Springs House After Buying an L.A. Property?
The Vanderpump Rules mom revealed if she plans to keep her desert "sanctuary" as she enters a new chapter.
Lala Kent is the proud owner of not one but two California homes — and she intends to keep it that way.
The Vanderpump Rules mom addressed the topic via Instagram last week when a fan asked if she planned to sell her Palm Springs vacation pad.
“Yes. This house is my sanctuary,” she wrote in a Story, which showed her 3-year-old daughter, Ocean, playing in the backyard pool. “There is nothing like the desert.”

Lala Kent buys a new home in Los Angeles: "I'm finally creating roots"
The question wasn’t exactly out of the blue, as Lala recently expanded her real estate portfolio.
During a February episode of her popular podcast series, Lala revealed she had purchased a stunning new property in Los Angeles. The mother of one previously lived in an LA apartment complex alongside her mom, Lisa Burningham, and her little brother, Easton Burningham. But now that she’s expanding her “pod,” Lala knew it was time to get a home with more space.
“Being a homeowner is very strange and weird, but also awesome,” she said during her February 16 podcast episode. “I like it and Ocean loves it… I feel like I’m finally creating roots of my own in LA. You know, I’ve always lived in an apartment… and now it’s, like, ‘Wow, we’re really creating a life.’ We bought a home that I’m going to fill with children and family and our stuff. It’s crazy. It’s amazing.”
Lala Kent prepares to welcome baby No. 2
Lala is now gearing up to welcome baby No. 2. The Utah native announced her pregnancy on Instagram this month, after revealing she would conceive another child through intrauterine insemination (IUI). Lala spoke about her pregnancy journey during a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules After Show, explaining why she decided to take the sperm donor route.
“I’ve always been a single parent, so that part didn’t scare me,” she said during the March 12 episode. “When my mom brought up, ‘What about a donor?’, it just kind of seemed like a no-brainer… It was like, ‘Hold up. I can get the baby, I don’t have to deal with the 50-50 chance of it working out — because even if you have a great relationship, and you separate, you still have to share your kid.
“That is gut-wrenching, and I never want to experience that ever again in my whole life,” she said about her past relationship with Ocean’s father. “I have such a stellar support system… I don’t feel like a single parent. I feel like I[‘ve] got all hands on deck.”
